Nancy Werner Opened and Closed the 2025 NATOA Annual Conference in New Orleans
Bradley Werner partner, Nancy Werner, opened and closed the 2025 NATOA Annual Conference in New Orleans in late August. Ms. Werner was a featured speaker in the opening session entitled, “Rapid Fire with the Experts.” She was joined by Angelina Panettieri from the National League of Cities and Gerry Lederer, a partner at BBK. The panel took questions from the attendees. They discussed the most pressing legislative, regulatory, and legal developments. These developments spanned key issue areas in the communications law space. The session was moderated by NATOA’s Legislative Director, Mike Lynch.
Ms. Werner closed the three-day conference at the Closing General Session Luncheon. Dana Healy of Cablecast Community Media and moderator Michael Russo, a past president of NATOA, joined her. The luncheon panel addressed the timely topic of the future of PEG Channels and Community Media. This discussion was particularly relevant in light of the shifting of traditional funding for Community Media. Ms. Werner summarized many of the earlier sessions in the Conference and provided her insights on the future of Community Media.
